And starting in July we have POTTERY WHEELS!
If you have visited us before, you already know how to paint ceramics, but now you can learn to build your own pieces and paint them too! Read Below to get the details!
Just Curious:
To get your feet wet we offer a One Class Only lesson where you can experiment with clay and learn the basic techniques. It will last 2 hours and you will have time to make a small piece or two. We have 3 different age groups for these lessons, Children (7-12), Teens (13-17), and Adults (18+). Techniques taught include (but are not limited to) pinch pots, coiling, figures, slump molds, and jewelry. Recommended for beginners and the curious about clay. Check below for scheduled dates (we try to run this class every week with alternating age groups, ie adults once every 3 weeks).

The Pinch Pot:
This lesson runs once a week for 3 weeks and provides time to explore clay in more depth. You have the introduction to the techniques, time to build and use the clay, paint your finished pieces and at the end you get to learn a bit about glazing. We have 2 different age groups for these lessons, Youth (10-16), Adults (17+). Techniques taught include (but are not limited to) pinch pots, coiling, figures, slump molds, and jewelry (plus glazing). Recommended for Beginners. Check below for scheduled dates.
The Intermediate Teapot:
This Lesson runs for 5 weeks. There is a brief refresher of the techniques at the start and projects are given requiring more in-depth clay working such as teapots/pitchers or larger sculptures. Multiple sessions are given for creating larger more complex pieces. With instruction on glazing the pieces at the end. Suggested Ages: 14 and up. Adults welcome. Recommended for those who have experience in clay or have taken the Just Curious class. Check below for scheduled dates
For those who are looking for a very in-depth experience in clay we offer a 10 week class, once a season. This class starts with the basic techniques and allows time for specific projects and time to learn how to use clay like the pros. Recommended for those who have experience in clay (intermediate or advanced) or have taken the Just Curious class. Check below for scheduled dates
*NEW* The Pottery Wheel:
We just got our new wheels and need to break them in. Join us on July 13th to try them out for free! (just pay for the clay you use). We also have our first adult classes starting on July 16th.

*NEW* Mom & Tot Pottery Class:For those of you with little ones younger than 7 that just can't wait to play with clay we have a new class! Its great for building dexterity in those little fingers and you can join them in the excitment!
