The Glaze Craze is a fun and creative contemporary studio where you can create fantastic functional pottery items for your home or gifts.
How it works:
Just walk-in when ever we are open, No appointment needed. Pick a piece to paint (prices range from $2.00 to $60.00) from hundred's of the latest ready to paint bisque. Pick a design from one of our stencils, books, magazines or bring in/create your own. Pick you paint colours (we have over 60 to choose from, with more coming soon), and get started painting! All our supplies and paints are non-toxic and food safe.
When your done, Leave the rest to us..... We fire your creation in our kiln (it takes 1 week before you can pick up the masterpieces). All supplies are provided, no appointment needed, and our friendly staff will assist you in making a true one of a kind piece. No experience necessary!
Our studio rates:
Child $4/hour
Adult $6/hour
Glaze: $2.00/piece
*Studio fee includes the use of the studio and all tools needed during the hour, such as paint, brushes, stencils & more!. Take your time to draw/design your piece before you start painting,you don't pay for time until you actually start painting!

Wedding Guest book Plates!
Don't have your guests sign a typical book that will just gather dust later. Have them sign a platter or a vase you can use! Just come in a week or so in advance of the special day to pick you piece. Put your names, the date, a special design on it, or anything you want. Leave it with us to glaze and fire like usual. We have a special new pen in a variety of colours that you can have your guests write on the finished ceramic piece that becomes permanent and dishwasher safe without even bringing it back to us! No need to get it fired after the special day. Ask us for details!
Take Home Baskets! The Cottage just got a whole lot more Fun!
With a simple deposit we lend you a beautiful large basket filled with the pottery and paint colours of your choice and all the tools you need (ie brushes, palettes, etc.). Take all the time you need to paint your pieces and just bring us back the basket with them finished for firing! Its great for when your out of town, late night/slumber parties, or if you just prefer to work at home!
Pre-Packaged Acrylic Pottery Paint Kits! All Under $20!
Need to keep the kids busy now that they are out of school, but don't have the time to make multiple trips here. Not to worry, just pick up a Pre-Packaged Acrylic Pottery Paint Kit! The kit includes one of our popular ceramic figurines (pick your own if you don't like the ones we made up), 5 brushes and 8 paint pots with every colour of the rainbow. No need to bring the piece back, since its acrylic paint, and you get to keep the brushes and extra paint for later!
Create Your Own Gift Baskets!
Option #1: Wrap up a basket for the painter! Pick your own un-painted item(s) & paint colours and we will wrap everything up with brushes and a palette in a beautiful basket with cello wrap and ribbon to go!
Option #2: Have us wrap up your painted piece! Paint your piece the way you want in store and leave it with us to be fired. We can then wrap it up in a beautiful basket with cello wrap and ribbon and have it ready for pick up in a week like usual!
